Highlights of This Release
New Functionality

Customizable Cart and Checkout Messages: Stores can configure multiple custom alerts (or messages) managed via specific Conditions. This capability assists in notifying customers about free delivery thresholds, highlighting important shipment deadlines etc.

Content Anchor Links: Adds the capability to link directly to distinct sections inside description fields for pages, landing pages, catalogs, events, staff reviews, and blog posts. This is ideal for lengthy policy documents and multi-section pages.

Checkout Surcharges: Allows stores to apply custom surcharges, such as a Living Wage Fee, during checkout. Multiple distinct fees can be created with unique criteria. This update will be a soft launch with select partner stores.

XML Sitemap Redesign: An upgraded, optimized sitemap generator for improved site indexing.

Updated Event Feed: Includes image URL, related product identifiers (ISBN/SKU), and RSVP hyperlinks required for stores using LitCircle.
Enhancements & Updates

Event Tags: Store staff can now view all available tags in a pop-up window during event setup, functioning like Order Tags.

Preferred Name Field Description: Stores can now insert explanatory text beneath the Preferred Name entry during checkout to clarify its intent. This description note also displays on the user account dashboard.

Disabled Shipping Methods: Disabled shipping methods are shifted to a separate tab away from active methods, streamlining management for site administrators.

Product SKUs in Activity Logs: Adjusting item quantities or titles on active orders now captures the corresponding ISBN or SKU directly within order activity logs.
Bug Resolutions

Shipping Rate Recalculation: Prevents shipping rate requoting when adding tracking information to existing orders. Shipment costs are now recalculated exclusively when order modifications impact shipping costs.

Payments on Settled Orders: Adding payments to fully paid orders now presents a message stating no balance remains, replacing the previous access denied warning.

Order Tag Hex Codes: Hides color hex values when assigning order tags to eliminate store confusion.

E-Gift Card Notifications: Corrects grammar within automated e-gift card communications.
