We're excited to announce our upcoming release on July 23, 2025, which includes several major features highly requested by our stores, along with important bug fixes. This release also prepares our platform for the upcoming upgrade to Drupal 11. Here's a preview of what's coming.
New Features:
- Stock Management for Non-Book Items: Introducing two ways to manage stock for all non-book products: POS Stock (LSI) and Website Stock.
- Low Stock Notifications: Receive alerts for non-book products that are likely to run out.
- Enhanced Book Variations: A perfect solution for managing specific book types like signed copies or school visit books with additional preferences.
Feature Updates:
- Order Confirmation Emails for store admins: Store administrators will now receive a slightly different email (customer emails remain unchanged).
- Editable Migrated Orders: You can now edit shipping information on completed and processing orders that have been migrated.
- Customer Email Validation: Improved validation for customer email addresses.
- URL Redirects for Migrated Wishlists: Seamless redirection for migrated wishlists.
Bug Fixes:
- Event Tag Protection: Event tags used for homepage carousels can no longer be inadvertently deleted.
- Site Alert Formatting: Double spacing has been removed from Site Alerts and Announcements.
- Accurate Book Availability: Books in stock (per the LSI file) will now display the correct availability message on product pages, pick lists, and order pages.
- Robust Search Results: Book descriptions on the search results page are truncated to 300 characters, and search results will not be affected by truncation occurring mid-tag (e.g., `<pr>` or `<b>`).
- Reliable LSI File Uploads: Manual LSI file uploads should now work without timing out.
- Correct Custom Sales Reports: Custom Sales Summary Reports will return accurate results when sliced daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly.
- Bulk User Uploads: Improved functionality for bulk uploading users.
